The Fotball i Parken project will adapt a park in the center for the broadcast of football matches during the World Cup.

An event production company has confirmed the transformation of the park located at St. Olavs gate 32 into an indoor venue for broadcasts and cultural activities in anticipation of the upcoming FIFA World Cup. The space, officially named Fotball i Parken (Football in Park), will open its doors this June, coinciding with the return of the Norwegian men's national team to the World Cup after a 28-year absence.

The Fotball i Parken infrastructure includes the installation of high-tech screens, food service areas, and entertainment zones. The park will be vibrant throughout the summer with a great atmosphere, music for all tastes, a wide variety of food and drink options, contests and competitions between matches, as well as artists and entertainment before and after the games.

The match schedule on Fotball i Parken will prioritize games featuring national teams with a large population in the Norwegian capital. The official calendar highlights the broadcasts of matches featuring Latin American teams, such as Mexico, Ecuador, Uruguay, Argentina, and Panama.

Entry is free, but those wishing to reserve a spot or enhance their experience can purchase different packages. Please note that prices vary depending on the match, day of the week, and time. The official Fotball i Parken platform has enabled a general admission pass system and a fast-track access service designed to avoid waiting times at perimeter checkpoints. The Fotball i Parken VIP section will offer exclusive table reservations and private areas. The event has an age limit of 20 years. The venue typically opens at 3:00 PM and closes 30 minutes after the last match.
